PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & SOCIAL MEDIA CONSENT

1. Media Capture During Charters

  • Ocean Nomad Charters may take photos and videos during charters, including images of guests, crew, the vessel, fishing activity, catch, scenery and onboard moments.

  • Media may be captured by crew members or authorised persons for operational, safety, guest experience, promotional or marketing purposes.

2. Use of Media for Marketing

  • Where consent is provided, Ocean Nomad Charters may use photos and videos for social media, website content, online advertising, brochures, promotional materials and other marketing channels.

  • Media may be published on public platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profile and the Ocean Nomad Charters website.

  • Media may be used without compensation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Guest Consent Form

  • Before departure, guests will be asked to complete a guest information and consent form.

  • The form will include a dedicated photo/video consent section where guests can choose whether they agree to the capture and use of their image, likeness and voice for marketing and promotional purposes.

  • Guests who do not consent should clearly indicate this on the form and inform the crew before departure.

4. Declining or Withdrawing Consent

  • Guests may decline media consent without affecting their ability to participate in the charter, provided safety and operational requirements are met.

  • Guests may request removal of specific published content by contacting Ocean Nomad Charters. We will make reasonable efforts to remove or stop using such content where practicable and lawful.

  • Withdrawal of consent may not affect lawful prior use, content already shared by third parties, or archived materials that cannot reasonably be removed.

5. Group Bookings and Minors

  • For group bookings, the person making the booking should ensure that all guests are informed of the media consent process.

  • For minors, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
